Yabu: The House of Katsu

Yabu: The House of Katsu. The moment I received an e-mail from the manager of Yabu, who happens to have the same name as me (which I find really cool), Denise Cabotage, my heart skipped a beat! (if you're reading this Denise, I thank you so so much for everything!) She invited me to try their new and awesome Japanese restaurant out! Check out the pictures below! :)

Backtrack! Of course, my outfit shots won't be forgotten!
Since it was in the afternoon, I decided to wear light clothes :)

I just love the buttons on this Zara silk top! Don't you?

Mix creams with browns and gold accessories for that 'day look'!
Zara top and shorts, Topshop necklace and purse, Tory Burch Belt, Balenciaga bracelet wrap

Awesome Tory Burch shoes for that extra oomph and extra...height! haha!

I just love the interior of the place. It really reminds me of Japan!
When you dine here, you'll also notice that the music is well suited for the ambiance of the restaurant.
I also found out that they were awarded as one of the Best Restaurants here in Manila & it's the first authentic house of katsu as well!
So, katsu lovers, this is your heaven. I promise!

Felt the vibes of being an official blogger at work! :)

I was surprised that I didn't have to wait for my food at all. I also loved that they had great service.
Here's what I got, their tempura! A must try! I mixed this with their special sauce and
I kinda died. Just a little. Haha! It was so good!

Salmon Katsu was also delicious! It's one of the new items in their menu

...and for their best-seller and my favorite, the melt-in-your-mouth pork Katsu!!!!!!

They come in either a la carte, or in sets that include miso soup, rice, and a fruit cocktail.
It's super worth the price! You'll definitely get your money's worth :)

Isn't it obvious that I was having a great time?
Here's me enjoying the process of making my own Yabu sauce

Happy child! I love Japanese food & I love Yabu

Excellent service and excellent quality only from Yabu!
With my very kind server, Donna and the assistant manager, Jimm.
Once again, I'd like to thank you Yabu Philippines! :)

It's located in the 2/F Mega Atrium, SM Megamall
Check out their site here for more info
Try it out when you're there and experience a different kind of japanese dining!
With that, I've decided that I'm definitely going back there soon :)
Watch out for my next post!
Xx, Denise
